About the role:

As a Senior UX Designer, you will work on industry-leading platforms and digital experiences. Reporting to the Lead UX Designer, you will be part of the wider Product Design team, working alongside Researchers, UI Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, and Data Scientists to deliver outstanding user experiences.

At ICIS, we offer a range of products that this role will contribute to. For our subscriber users,Clarityis the primary platform where they log in regularly to access the wealth of information we provide. It is adata-rich experience, delivering insights from editors and analysts who publish content daily. The design challenges in Clarity revolve around ensuring information is intuitive, accessible, and valuable across multiple channels.

In addition to subscriber-facing products, we also designinternal toolsused by our editors and analysts to create, manage, and publish content efficiently. These tools play a crucial role in the editorial workflow and are essential for delivering high-quality insights to our customers.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will work across the end-to-end experience, designing for both internal and external users, ensuring seamless interactions across all touchpoints.

This is an opportunity to influence the future of our digital products,mentor junior designers, and drive user-centered design processes that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead UX design initiatives across multiple projects,from discovery to delivery.
  • Apply user-centered design methodologies to create intuitive, accessible, and elegant solutions.
  • Collaborateclosely with product managers, developers, researchers, architects, and data scientists to define problems, explore solutions, and validate design decisions.
  • Conductusability testingand data analysis to inform and iterate designs.
  • Design workflows, wireframes, and prototypes tobring ideas to life.
  • Advocate for and contribute to the evolution ofUX best practices, design processes, and team culture.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven environment.
  • Ensure consistency and scalability by contributing to and maintainingNova, ourICIS design system.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experiencein UX design with formal knowledge inHuman-Computer Interaction (HCI)acquired through university courses, ongoing training, or certification.
  • A designer who thrives incomplex spacesand enjoys solving complex problems.
  • Proven ability tolead UX projectsin multidisciplinary teams, managing design processes effectively.
  • Have a portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design,prototyping, and problem-solving.
  • Experience withusability testing, user research, and applying insights to improve products.
  • Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility best practices.
  • Strong communication skills—able to present design rationales and take stakeholders on a journey.
  • Have a collaborative mindset, eager to work with cross-functional teams to build impactful solutions.
  • Experience withFigma,Jira,Miro,Dovetail, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity, identify opportunities, and drive meaningful change.
