We’re looking for aSenior Product Designerwho expects more from their career. This role will be a 12 month fixed term contract. You will work closely with designers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers to unlock the value of data for our Retail and Brand clients through our portfolio of digital solutions powered by data science.

What you’ll be working on

As a hands-on design and innovation practitioner, you will shape our products into usable and useful experiences with user needs and business goals at the forefront. You will support the Product Design Manager in defining standards and guidelines across design and research, ensuring quality and consistency in product experience.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide design leadership within product delivery teams working closely with product managers, UX researchers, engineers, and data scientists.
  • Lead the creation of user-centric experiences that meet a high-quality, industry-leading standard.
  • Partner with product managers to translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to an intuitive user experience.
  • Assist Product Design Principal or Product Design Manager with managing the design work within a product space.
  • Validate designs with end users via common research best practices and techniques.
  • Present designs and validated findings back to team members and stakeholders.
  • Support development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into design practices.

What we expect from you

  • Experienced in user experience design, creating, designing, validating, and measuring product experiences.
  • Ideally a degree in UX Design, Product Design, Human-Centred Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, etc.
  • A portfolio of design work/case studies.
  • Expert skills with design software such as Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong practice of user-centred design methodologies.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into the design process.
  • Understanding of business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
