Senior Management Accountant

Location: Northolt, West London
Reporting to: Finance Business Partner
Salary: £55k-£60k
Type: Full time, Onsite (not hybrid/remote) Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Northolt, West London.

Role Purpose

Collaborate with the finance team and Finance Business Partner to provide management accounting support.
Deliver insightful financial analysis to aid decision-making for stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial records, including income and liabilities.
Support the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts based on key financial drivers.

Responsibilities

Complete monthly accounting tasks, including processing journals, reviewing general ledger postings, and investigating variances.
Create and manage annual budgets and forecasts, considering factors such as student numbers and payroll costs.
Able to communicate data effectively with relevant stakeholders
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing any auditor queries.
Generate additional reports and analysis as needed to support management decisions.
Work with finance colleagues to enhance data quality and reporting processes within the system.
Foster effective working relationships with finance team members and other departments.

Requirements

Financial accounting experience
Management accounting experience
Related qualifications
Strong communication skills
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
