Job Description

We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team, where your daily work will involve regular collaboration in a cross-functional team with a designer, product manager, and other engineers. You will communicate frequently with engineers, support, marketing, and data analysts across the organization to ensure seamless integration and a smooth user experience. In this role, you will develop and maintain responsive web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React JS, and TailwindCSS, while troubleshooting and resolving UI/UX issues to improve the overall functionality and appearance of our platforms.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Communicate frequently with engineers, support, marketing, and data analysts across the organization
  2. Develop and maintain responsive web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React JS, and TailwindCSS
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues

YOUR REQUIREMENTS:

  1. +5 years of experience developing scalable web applications for user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React JS with a keen eye for design details. You have excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and developing advanced responsive layouts.
  2. Experience writing tests and using appropriate frameworks for this, such as Cypress, Jest or React Testing Library.
  3. A strong product sense and passion for UI/UX, as well as a proven ability to translate visions into high-quality solutions
  4. Knowledge of modern build tools and workflows (Webpack, npm, Vite, etc.)
  5. Good programming skills with a strong understanding of data structures, asynchronous programming and engineering best practices
  6. A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
  7. Aware of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance aspects
  8. Familiar with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming and integrating external applications with backend services, payment systems (Stripe, Adyen, etc.)
  9. Familiar with state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, etc.
  10. Able to empathically review code, merge code and share knowledge
  11. Familiar with CI/CD, Docker containers, Git, Github, Github Actions, Azure, etc.

Nice to have:

  1. Data-driven approach. Experience with A/B testing, analytics and optimisation tools for SEO and performance
  2. Knowledge of Python or similar programming language with experience building working applications
  3. Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of trends in web development, UI/UX, cloud computing, GPUs, etc.
