Migration Project Manager
Location: Bath (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote)
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
Type: 12-18 Months FTC

Deerfoot Recruitment is assisting a leading organisation in their search for an experienced Migration Project Manager to lead a critical platform migration as part of a wider strategic transformation programme. This is a temporary role, expected to last 12-18 months, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within the financial services sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the migration project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption. This role requires strong project management expertise and experience within the UK financial services or investments industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
Oversee data integrity, system testing phases, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Proactively identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage business readiness activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new platform.About You:

Proven experience managing platform migration projects
Experience within the wealth management, asset management, insurance, investment or other financial services sectors
Strong understanding of investment platforms (such as GBST Composer), data migration, and system integrations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Jira.
A solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
