The HR Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department by ensuring efficient processes and accurate record-keeping. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent administrative support.

This is a not-for-profit organisation based in Preston that focuses on delivering meaningful services to its community. As a small-sized team, they prioritise collaboration and are dedicated to creating a positive impact through their work.

Description

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Maintain employee records, including contracts, right-to-work documents, and other compliance-related paperwork.
Assist in the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and preparing offer letters.
Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a seamless experience.
Support the HR team in organising training sessions and tracking employee development records.
Handle general HR queries, directing more complex matters to the appropriate team members.
Contribute to the maintenance of HR systems and databases, ensuring data integrity.
Collaborate on HR projects aimed at improving policies and procedures within the organisation.Profile

A successful HR Administrator should have:

Experience in an administrative role, ideally within Human Resources or a similar environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
An understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
