Kenna Recruitment has a new exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to join one of the UK's Leading Housebuilders based out of their new region in Manchester.

Overview:

As a Document Controller you will work with the other Senior Document Controller and the Technical team to provide a consistent and timely service to the development teams by ensuring that project information/drawings/documentation is managed, communicated, filed, and retrievable in accordance with the businesses Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) Asite.

Asite experience is a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • All Document Control relating to the design of the project (Drawings / RFIs / Tech Subs / Sample Schedules)

  • Liaise with members of the design team and sub-contractors on design issues/queries

  • File all drawings in folders and on racks.

  • Assist the Technical Team with printing and collating drawings A1 and A3.

  • Liaise with the Project Lead / Design Manager regarding co-ordination of O&M manuals

  • Provide a reporting and feedback function such that senior managers are fully aware of all documentation issues

  • Allocate/control document numbering/naming systems for project documentation and carry out data checks on all incoming shared/published documents

  • Generate reports and monitor data analytics to provide feedback to the project team on project performance throughout the project lifecycle

  • Ongoing monitoring and governance of the file structure of the CDE and the project shared drive, monitoring document submission performance progress, coordinating the review process, and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Chase consultants for comments and ensure that the design team maintain their agreed response rates

  • Distribute consultant’s drawings to subcontractors and visa versa.

  • Send Asite invitations out and manage notifications as appropriate.

  • Help solve Asite problems that arise from subcontractors and design team members.

  • Coordinating H&S Packs

  • General administrative duties if and when required.

    What can we offer you:

  • Salary between £35,000 - £42,000
