Data Quality Executive -Maternity Cover (Part-Time, 12-18 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

  • Location: Remote (occasional monthly travel required)
  • Contract Type: Fixed-Term (12-18 months)
  • Hours: 17 hours per week, flexible working between Tuesday-Friday, 8am-6pm
  • Start Date: ASAP, with handover period leading to maternity cover from October 2025
  • Salary / Wage: Up to £15.11/ph / £27,502 FTE (DOE) + home working allowance + reimbursed expenses
    Our client, a specialist provider of data reporting platforms within the wholesale and retail sector, is seeking a meticulous and highly organisedData Quality Executiveto join their team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. The role plays a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity and reliability of client-facing data solutions.
    This position would suit a detail-oriented professional who thrives on process, is self-motivated, and values accuracy and precision in data handling.
    Part-Time Data Quality Executive - Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and cleanse data exports received from the technical team to identify anomalies or issues (e.g., missing data, unusual values).
  • Apply accurate product attributes to data, focusing on high-impact items.
  • Ensure data accuracy and maintain timeliness in updates to support quality client reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to manage the smooth flow of import/export files and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Monitor and uphold internal classification KPIs and support continuous improvement in data handling practices.
  • Provide regular feedback and raise any potential improvements to systems or processes.
    Candidate Profile - Part-Time Data Quality Executive:
  • Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting, with the initiative to seek guidance when necessary.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and manage varied priorities effectively.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and large dataset navigation).
  • Confident and professional communicator, both in written and verbal form.
  • Interested in data and technology, and enjoys learning new tools and systems.
  • Possesses a numerate mindset and is comfortable interpreting and validating figures.
    Part Time Data Quality Executive -Additional Information:
    A company laptop and homeworking allowance are provided. While primarily remote, attendance at monthly team meetings in Milton Keynes or Brackley is required.

    This role may be combined with a separate Client Services Assistant opportunity (approx. 21 hours/week) for candidates seeking full-time hours and a broader operational remit.
