Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days per week)

Salary: Up to £79,000 + 15% Bonus

Overview:

We're working with a global financial services organisation looking for a Planning Analyst to join their high-performing finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting financial planning and forecasting across multiple regions and legal entities, contributing to strategic decision-making and performance management.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to join a dynamic, international business.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of financial planning and forecasting processes across multiple business units and regions.
Develop core planning outputs and templates to support internal reporting and executive presentations.
Collaborate with finance business partners and regional teams to ensure timely and accurate plan submissions.
Assist in the development and maintenance of planning tools and systems.
Monitor planning timelines and ensure adherence to key milestones.
Provide analysis and insights to support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
Help document planning assumptions and maintain a clear audit trail of key decisions and drivers.
Champion data quality and integrity throughout the planning cycle.
Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.

What We're Looking For:

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
Experience in financial planning and analysis within the insurance sector.
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to data interpretation and reporting.
Able to handle large sets of data, model building and able to present effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functions and levels.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with planning/reporting tools (e.g. SAP, Anaplan, Power BI).
A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
