We’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer/Analytics Specialist to join our Data and Analytics team. This role involves independently managing complex projects, improving data processes, and building scalable solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and business partners is key to developing impactful data models, optimizing ETL pipelines, and creating clear dashboards that support strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data models that align with evolving business needs.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using Databricks, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Establish and uphold strong data quality through thorough testing and validation.
  • Create insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to make data accessible and actionable.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within data systems.
  • Work closely with business teams to understand objectives and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain system stability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong skills in SQL and data modeling, with a focus on business context.
  • Experience with ETL tools, preferably Databricks, with emphasis on data quality and observability.
  • Analytical mindset capable of interpreting complex data and delivering insights.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to prioritizing and driving improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in data or analytics roles, demonstrating independent project delivery.
