The role

We\'re looking for Senior data analytics engineer to join our data team. You will play a key role in expanding and improving our data warehouse and BI capabilities. You will work closely with key stakeholders to shape and deliver key features for our clients. You will help drive improvements in the team by suggesting improvements to existing processes, new technologies and ways of working.

On a typical day you will be
  • Working in an agile t-shaped data team and with colleagues across all other teams
  • Building and implementing a range of developments across areas including our pipelines, data warehouse and BI tool
  • Hands-on in terms of development, testing, debugging, deployment and support
  • Involved with specification and documentation
  • Develop and promote appropriate processes and best practice
  • Provide expertise on promoting best use of data and our tools throughout the company.
  • Help develop and promote appropriate processes and best practice, always looking for better ways of working to drive scalability.
Youll be successful if you
  • Experienced designing data modelling and data analytics
  • Are experienced with data, BI or analytics engineering practices
  • Are experienced in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using streaming or CDC events.
  • Have expert knowledge of SQL
  • Have hands on experience working in the AWS technology stack
  • Excited about working in a rapidly growing fintech that will throw you in at the deep end, and where your learning curve will be steep
  • Able to understand business requirements and turn this into efficient, scalable solutions, with a desire to learn our business domain
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • A strong communicator with the ability to express new ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical audience
  • Organised and a strong team player
  • A quick learner, able to pick up new skills and technologies easily and enjoys working on complex issues
  • Experienced in wealth management beneficial
  • Experience with Redshift, dbt, python and Google Looker beneficial
