The role
As an Associate Product Owner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a pivotal role in assisting in the management of the product backlog, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring the successful execution of data warehouse projects, small changes, enhancements, and incident management.

Day-to-day, you’ll support the product owner in delivering high-quality data engineering solutions within our IT Department.

  1. Assist the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritising the product backlog.
  2. Support the Product Owner in planning and executing data warehouse projects.
  3. Contribute to the evaluation and prioritisation of change requests and enhancements.
  4. Provide support during incident investigations and resolution processes.
  5. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Essential experience of the Associate Product Owner

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  4. Experience working in a data engineering environment, preferably with Kimball data warehouse methodologies.
  5. Experience with data modelling and data warehousing concepts.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (SC) security clearance and NNPPI for this role.
