Our network comprises 45+ sites in 20+ countries, with around 25,000 employees, third-party suppliers and contract manufacturers. Additionally, we have an exciting portfolio of new therapies in development with significant commercial launches planned over the next 5 years.The primary purpose of this role is to own and manage a Data & Analytics (D&A) Product domain within the Supply Chain & Network Strategy function for GSK’s Pharmaceutical and Vaccines Supply Chains. This role will act as the bridge and translator between business and Tech/Data worlds, leveraging business domain understanding, Data & Analytics expertise and Product Management skills to define and refine the product vision, strategy and roadmap, then execute. You will work closely with the Director, Supply Chain & Network Strategy Product Management, business leaders and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities, assess value, prioritise work and define requirements. Working equally closely with scrum masters, data engineers, data modelers, data scientists, other Tech & Data experts and business representatives to design, deliver and embed high-quality D&A solutions.Pharma Supply Chain (PSC) manages a complex set of Data & Analytics Products & Services which must deliver effective solutions against a compelling set of Business Unit transformational Value release targets by deploying Self-Serve & Managed Analytics and Data Science capabilities. Significant change is required to fully realize this vision including the deployment and embedment of emerging GSK Data Platform technology and PSC Self-Serve Analytics capabilities, simplification of the existing Product Portfolio and the deployment of AGILE DevOps, DataOps & MLOps for new services.The Director, Data and Analytics Product & Strategies will be responsible for managing alpha to beta industrialisation bridging new innovations which have demonstrated proof of value through to product teams who industrialise the solutions to live. You will also manage D&A portfolio of mission-critical products and activities, planned initiatives, and services. As we pivot from CapEx-driven project portfolio structure, to a balanced CapEx/OpEx model with persistent product development teams, the Director will maintain the master view of all of our demand and priorities across the function. This role also plays a critical role in measuring and evaluating products and tracking their value and efficiency throughout. This includes setting and continually iterating common standards across the business unit portfolio processes.Key Responsibilities:Delivery

Responsible for managing alpha to beta industrialisation bridging new innovations which have demonstrated proof of value through to product teams who industrialise the solutions to live.Responsible for translation of solution components into value opportunities for product teams to enable live value delivery at pace.Strategy

Supports VP Data & Analytics in continuous performance improvement initiatives design and execution.Collaboratively partners and works across boundaries with D&A 'pillars' to seek continuous improvement opportunities and incremental End User Value.Leverages Manufacturing, Quality & Supply Chain Business Process domain experience to ensure effective understanding of Business & D&A Strategic objectives.Translates Strategy into deployment patterns.Partners with BU & Tech stakeholders to develop and deploy subsequent D&A Product Portfolio Roadmap.Product Demand

Establish Single Points of Contact (SPoC’s) from each portfolio with dotted line reporting to consolidate Tech analytics demand with the requisite maturity that the D&A Product Owner can then triage, align and shape for delivery.Orchestrate a D&A Guild for Analytics Product Management consolidating Use Cases, themes and data requirements with BU sponsors and SME’s to gain associated synergies.Apply Tiering to Demand aligned with BRP and Business approval forums 1 priority being on cross business process transformational Use Cases – Tier 2 Managed delivery and service, Tier 3 Self-Serve with data enablement only.PMO

Maximize Value release and return of investment by operating a D&A portfolio PMO.Applies & continuously improves D&A AGILE Product Management standards & tools in partnership with PSC Tech TTP.Performance manages Flow of Demand, Delivery & Value.Lead indirect CW reports (most notably Finance & Portfolio Mgt).Why you?

Basic Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Degree in computer science or related field is desirable although relevant experience is equally valuable.Hands on experience in delivering complex Portfolio Management in large scale global Life Sciences or FMCG industries.Authentic leader with proven Business Partnering experience.Strong experience in the Technology Sector (Either in Industry or in Technology Consulting).Worked with both remote and co-located teams across multiple time zones.Facilitated multi-disciplinary teams that have delivered multi-million pound CapEx projects.Directly managed project managers/business analysts and are passionate about developing people.Experience of working within a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders to manage.Broad and detailed understanding of different project management modalities and how to intelligently apply them to specific problems (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, Scrum XP, Kanban, etc).Proven experience in onboarding yourself and getting up to speed quickly on new projects.Technical domain knowledge to understand projects and trade-off choice.Preferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:Industry recognised qualification in Product Management, Agile, SAFe, Portfolio Management, DevOps.Interested in Joining the Team?
