Are you an experienced Business Intelligence professional with a passion for transforming data into actionable insights? We are seeking a Business Intelligence & Reporting Manager to lead a high-performing analytics function, driving reporting excellence and supporting strategic decision-making across a healthcare-focused organisation.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of business intelligence, reporting, forecasting, and data management services. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure reporting solutions are accurate, insightful, and aligned with organisational objectives while continually improving reporting standards, systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage an annual Business Intelligence workplan, ensuring reporting services meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the production, validation, quality assurance, and governance of management information and performance reporting.
  • Lead the design, maintenance, and continual improvement of reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics tools.
  • Manage relationships with software providers and support the delivery of bespoke reporting requirements.
  • Drive innovation in reporting methodologies, visualisation techniques, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Coordinate and prioritise ad hoc data requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain robust data storage, archiving, documentation, and change control processes.
  • Produce forecasting models and business intelligence insights to support operational planning and periods of increased demand.
  • Contribute to business cases, service development initiatives, and tender submissions.
  • Represent the organisation at internal and external meetings as required.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and support a team of reporting and data professionals.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure departmental procedures and documentation remain current and compliant.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and cross-training to maintain service resilience.
  • Encourage collaborative working across operational, clinical, and corporate functions.

About You

You will be a confident and proactive leader with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. You will possess the ability to identify complex problems, deliver solutions, and communicate insights clearly to a variety of audiences.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience within Business Intelligence, Management Information, or Data Analytics leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL/T-SQL, database design, and data warehousing principles.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with Azure data environments and Python.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Positive approach to change and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
