Are you a data-driven problem solver with a passion for building robust data pipelines and infrastructure? We’re working with a major player in the utilities sector who is seeking a talentedData Engineerto join their growing data team inNewcastle.


This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful projects that support critical infrastructure, while enjoying a hybrid working model with3 days per week on-site.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across various platforms.
  • Supporting the migration and integration of data from legacy systems to modern cloud-based environments.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data modelling and warehousing.
  • Proficiency in Python or another programming language used for data engineering.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar is a plus.
