Founded in 2000 by clinicians Dr Paul Beven and Dr Peter Mason, Healix Health was built on a simple belief: healthcare works best when it’s personal, not prescriptive. Backed by our earlier global success with Healix International (est. 1992), we bring together deep medical and risk management expertise to deliver cost‑efficient, high‑quality healthcare solutions.

Today, our team of 150+ professionals supports an impressive portfolio of corporate, government, NGO and insurance clients. We are proud to be values‑driven, collaborative and committed to putting people at the heart of everything we do.

Acting as a primary point of contact for data requests, including reporting, analysis, ad‑hoc queries and changes to business processes or client set‑ups

Delivering timely ad‑hoc reporting and data extracts to internal and external stakeholders, with a strong focus on broker and Commercial team requirements

Translating business requirements into clear technical specifications and producing reporting solutions using tools such as SSRS and Power BI

Supporting the maintenance and integrity of the Data Warehouse by performing regular checks, identifying issues and working with relevant teams to resolve them

Building strong relationships with the Data Warehouse team to ensure effective, appropriate use of data across the organisation

Collaborating with colleagues to automate or streamline data‑related tasks, providing expert support (including advanced Excel usage)

Proactively identifying opportunities to improve data accuracy, consistency and governance

Acting as a role model for responsible data use, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Healix values

What We’re Looking For

Essential experience and skills:

Previous experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role, working with complex datasets

Strong Excel skills (including formulas, PivotTables and lookups)

Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis

Understanding of data protection and information governance, including GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018

Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability, with attention to root cause analysis

Ability to manage priorities and deadlines independently

High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy

About The Company

We offer UK employee healthcare benefits, and travel, medical and security assistance in every corner of the globe. Our purpose is to help people in difficult situations – whether that’s a cancer diagnosis, a need for medical assistance when they’re far from home, or being caught up in conflict or natural disaster. We talk to them, support them, and make sure they get the help they need. If necessary, we’ll pull them out and bring them home.

We’re co-ordinators and problem-solvers: experts at navigating the global health and security landscape. Our teams of doctors, nurses, travel and medical co-ordinators and security experts make sure that your people will be looked after, whatever happens supported by technology designed help individuals, not slot them into a predetermined solution.

We work with governments, broadcasters, NGOs, international corporations, major insurers and more. No two clients are the same: we adapt our services to their needs.

More importantly, we adapt to the practical and human needs of the individuals we protect. Most of us are on the front line; we keep our back office lean. We don’t use scripts, and we don’t time calls. We never lose sight of the fact that we’re dealing with real people.

Company Culture

Instead, we focus on ensuring our highly trained specialists have the space and time they need to be effective. We let them use their initiative to get the job done, because the situations they face often throw up unexpected challenges – and no protocol survives contact with the real world.

Our clients have thousands of employees and customers, at home and abroad, so they need a business big enough to handle any situation. But they chose Healix because they also need an organisation that’s personal enough to care.

Our people are driven to do things in the best way, not the way they have always been done. We work hard, and our efforts are rewarded with great development opportunities and a supportive team spirit.

We want to nurture this friendly and dynamic company culture so that we can continue to attract diverse talent with a breadth of knowledge and world-class skills. As a part of Healix, you can expect a range of excellent benefits and an environment where people really do care.

Where to Advertise Data Science Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise data science jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, communities and channels that actually reach senior and lead data science talent. Data science spans a broad and often misunderstood spectrum — from statistical modelling and experimental design through to machine learning engineering, product analytics and AI research. The strongest candidates identify firmly with specific subdisciplines and are frustrated by adverts that conflate data scientist with data analyst, business intelligence developer or machine learning engineer. General job boards produce high application volumes for data roles but consistently fail to match specialist data science profiles with the right opportunities. This guide, published by DataScienceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise data science roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.

Data Science Jobs UK 2026: What to Expect Over the Next 3 Years

Data Science Jobs UK 2026: roles, salaries and the trends shaping UK data science hiring over the next three years — from MLE crossover to GenAI workflows. Data science has spent the past decade being described as the sexiest job of the twenty-first century. By 2026, the reality is both more nuanced and more interesting than that label ever suggested. The discipline has matured, fragmented, deepened, and in some respects reinvented itself — and the jobs market has changed with it in ways that create genuine opportunity for those who understand what employers actually want, and genuine difficulty for those still operating on assumptions formed five years ago. The data science jobs market of 2026 is not simply a larger version of what it was three years ago. The generalist data scientist — equally comfortable wrangling data, building models, and presenting insights to the board — is giving way to a more specialised landscape where employers know exactly what problem they are trying to solve and are looking for candidates with the specific depth to solve it. Machine learning engineering, causal inference, experimentation, AI product development, and domain-specific applied science have all emerged as distinct career tracks within what was previously a single, loosely defined profession. At the same time, the arrival of large language models and the broader AI capability wave has both threatened and created data science roles in equal measure. Some of the work that junior data scientists spent their early careers doing — data cleaning, exploratory analysis, basic model building — is being partially automated by AI tooling. But the demand for practitioners who can evaluate AI systems rigorously, apply statistical thinking to complex business problems, and build the data foundations on which AI depends has grown considerably. The candidates who will thrive over the next three years are those who understand where the discipline is heading — which specialisms are attracting the most investment, which technologies are reshaping what data scientists are expected to build and know, and how to position a data science career that will remain valuable as the field continues to evolve around them. This article breaks down what the UK data science jobs market is likely to look like through to 2028 — covering the titles emerging right now, the technologies driving employer demand, the skills that will matter most, and how to position your career ahead of the curve.
