Location: Luton, UK

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

Working Pattern: Full Time

Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £18.50

Our client, a leading organisation in the aerospace industry, is seeking a motivated System Safety & Data Analyst to join their Safety, Security, and Compliance team.

Purpose of the Role:

As a System Safety & Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with critical safety procedures, and analysing flight data to enhance operational safety. Your expertise will contribute to the airworthiness of our aircraft and the overall safety of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Flight Data Analysis Confidentiality Agreements.

Validate and analyse recorded flight events to support safety investigations.

Provide engineering teams with event data for aircraft limitation exceedance.

Attend and contribute to FDM Meetings and other company safety forums.

Review safety reports and manage entries in the occurrence management system.

Analyse Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and manage safety meeting minutes.

Communicate identified safety issues to the FDM manager and Captain.

Administer and develop safety systems, including Intelex and FDM.

Create and maintain safety information presentations and dashboards for the Safety & Compliance department.

Analyse safety and compliance data to identify trends and potential hazards.

Collaborate with operations department heads to support safety and compliance management.

Serve as the main contact for IT system vendors and represent the organisation in user forums.

Develop and deliver training materials for IT system usage.

Ensure compliance with contracted and external auditor requirements.

Experience:

Any level of experience in aviation is welcome!

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Familiarity with aviation regulations (UK CAA Part-M, Part-CAMO, Air-OPS, Part-145).

General understanding of aviation safety, ICAO Annexe 19, and compliance management systems.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics, industrial, or a related field.

Languages:

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong adaptability to manage changing priorities and absorb new information.

Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Skillful in analysing information and presenting findings on compliance issues.

Experience in developing processes and procedures.
