We are looking for an expert in��data architecture, cloud technologies, and integration patterns. Do you have a passion for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that drive business success? If so, this is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise data architecture!

About the Role

Working with the Head of Enterprise Data Architecture and Engineering (EDAE), the Solution Architect – Data Architecture & Engineering will be responsible for designing and delivering robust data solutions that support analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams across IT and business domains, ensuring data strategies align with enterprise objectives and industry standard methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture solutions. Develop and maintain enterprise data models, reference architectures, and governance frameworks. Represent the EDAE team in Demand Review and Prioritisation meetings. Collaborate with IT engineering teams across ERP, Commercial, and Lab Systems to guide data pipeline, warehouse, and lakehouse implementations. Evaluate and recommend data technologies, platforms, and tools to enhance enterprise data capabilities. Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standard processes are embedded within the architecture. Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and innovations in data architecture.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Strong preference for experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Python. Proven experience in data architecture, solution design, or a similar role within enterprise environments. Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks). Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse). Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data processing. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Graph DBs) and data integration tools. Ability to conceptualise complex data ecosystems across different systems and processes.
