Senior Solutions ArchitectJob Purpose

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Solutions Architectto enhance our Architecture function. This role is focused on strengthening the impact of technology solutions within a dynamic and evolving environment.

As part of a growing team, you will play a key role in defining and communicating current and future state architectures, ensuring alignment with overarching strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that drive digital transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Alignment: Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives and strategy.
  • Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise solutions and technology roadmaps across multiple domains.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on architectural best practices, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with business units, project teams, and external partners to drive technology adoption and optimization.
  • Architecture Assessments: Evaluate the existing technology landscape, identifying gaps and recommending improvements to enhance performance, security, and compliance.
  • Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Assess and recommend emerging technologies that align with strategic objectives and add business value.
  • Governance & Best Practices: Ensure proposed solutions adhere to architectural principles, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, system specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Agile & Incremental Delivery: Translate technology roadmaps into actionable work packages, supporting agile development and iterative value delivery.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects, fostering skill development across strategy and delivery.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven Experience: 7+ years in a Senior Solutions Architect or similar role within a complex IT environment.
  • Enterprise Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of industry frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms, digital front-end and back-end applications, middleware, and system integration.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, identity and access management, and IT governance principles.
  • Data & API Architecture: Expertise in data architecture, analytics, API standards, and protocols for system integration.
  • IT-OT Integration (Desirable): Familiarity with IT-OT solutions such as SCADA, ANM, and DERMS is beneficial.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Technology Vendor Management: Experience working with business solution vendors and market-leading technology providers.
