Senior QA Analyst – Investment Management - Permanent – Hybrid

My client is a leading global investment management business looking to hire a Senior QA Analyst to assist on quality assurance and testing across the business’ core applications. With a strong focus on data engineering and ESG data, you’ll ensure the integrity of data loading, regulatory reporting and the business’ internally developed UI. This is a hands-on role (90%), whilst leading a team of 3 QAs in terms of issue resolution and planning (10%).

The Senior QA Analyst is expected to:

  • Champion a test automation-first approach, embedding automation wherever feasible.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test scripts to ensure full coverage of business requirements and regression testing.
  • Investigate, document, and escalate issues, working closely with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to drive resolutions.
  • Provide clear, timely MI and defect reports to ensure confidence in system changes.
  • Review and provide feedback on Business Requirements/User Stories, ensuring clarity and testability.

The successful Senior QA Analyst will possess:

  • Proven experience in data quality assurance, data transformation, and ETL processes.
  • Significant asset management/investment environment experience and an understanding of trading.
  • Expertise in SQL, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and UI testing.
  • Hands-on knowledge of automated testing methods and frameworks for data warehouses and UI testing.
  • Ability to work in Agile environments, managing test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Strong Windows-based troubleshooting and scripting skills.
