As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst, you will develop in-depth knowledge of Funding Circle's Marketing activities and products, become an expert in marketing analytics, and support analytical initiatives and the development of a data-driven maturity within Funding Circle.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute experiments to test marketing hypotheses: design, develop, and implement experiments across channels, segments and audiences to derive actionable insights and drive decision-making.
  • Develop predictive models: build, test and implement models to inform business decisions such as customer segmentation, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Communicate results and engage with stakeholders: present insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive informed decisions.
  • Analyze datasets: identify trends and patterns to unlock opportunities and meaningful insights.
  • Mentorship and knowledge sharing: contribute to a collaborative analytics culture, provide mentorship to junior team members, and share knowledge within the analytics teams and business units.
  • Continuous learning: stay up-to-date with advancements in data science and marketing analytics to apply best practices and maximize the value of marketing insights.
What we're looking for
  • Marketing background: experience with marketing data, understanding of marketing channels, campaign performance metrics, and awareness of external influences on marketing performance.
  • Data curiosity and problem solving: ability to explore, understand, and explain complex datasets; identify opportunities for automation and process improvements; practical, outcome-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in statistical modelling: experience developing and deploying statistical models, with knowledge of supervised and unsupervised methods; GenAI/LLMs knowledge is an advantage.
  • Software development skills: strong programming experience (ideally Python); ability to collaborate with analytics engineers, data scientists, and engineers on model development and analytics projects.
  • Data manipulation, cleaning and analysis: proficient in data manipulation and analysis using tools like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL; capable of handling large-scale datasets and data quality issues; solid statistical understanding for modelling.
  • Collaborative team player: strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Continuous learning and adaptability: commitment to staying updated on data science and marketing analytics; able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-innovation environment.
