Our data analytics team focuses on helping our clients unlock value from their information assets through collaboration with domain experts across assurance, tax, transactions, and consulting to embed innovative data analytics solutions in existing business areas.

Your key responsibilities

The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, so we’ll look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas. Occasional travel may be necessary as you will be meeting with key clients, some of whom are the most respected in their fields.

· Work in multi-disciplinary teams across various industries, helping our clients use analytics to transform and improve their business.

· Establish enterprise data governance framework, including data policies, standards, and processes to help our clients achieve overall business needs.

· Develop and implement data management and governance roadmap, including strategic priorities for establishing organisation-wide data capabilities.

· Help our clients create and enforce policies for effective data management.

· Identify new business opportunities for using data assets to achieve business efficiency.

· Lead a team responsible for driving data governance projects leveraging robust tools and infrastructure to sanitise, store and manipulate data.

· Design data quality frameworks to enhance clients' data quality across their key domains and processes.

· With guidance from partners, directors, and senior managers, you'll identify and act on potential business opportunities for EY.

· Actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships.

· Devise and implement efficient and secure data handling and analysis procedures with attention to all technical aspects.

· Establish data rules and procedures for data sharing with Senior Management, internal and external stakeholders.

· Guide our clients in preparing and excelling in their approach and adopting best practices for the rapidly evolving data regulations and technological changes.

· Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs and contribute to thought leadership.

Skills and attributes for success

· A Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD Degree

· 7+ years of experience in data management and governance

· Understanding of technologies used in data governance and management (, Collibra, Alation, Informatica, etc.)

· People management experience

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop others, managing budgets, scope creep, expectations, deliverables, timelines, etc.

· Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language.

· Highly professional with the ability to work in challenging, diverse, and evolving client environments.

· Passion for contributing to the team's growth and our Data Analytics practice.

· Data Governance or Data Management related certifications (, from DAMA, EDMC)
