ZS’sData Strategy and Data Office has 2 pillars: First, advisingclients on all matters related to Data Strategy. With the explosionof healthcare data and new applications, Data Strategy has emergedas a key strategic initiative for many Life Science companies. Theteam advises clients on operating model, governance data sourcingand generation, data management, value creation, technologyenablement, and compliance. In close collaboration with the Digitaland Technology practice, we help diagnose and roadmap the datastrategy journey, design, build, and operate strategiccapabilities. The second pillar is building relationships andpartnerships with a wide range of data providers, EMR software andtechnology or hospital providers networks to enable ZS access anduse of the data in innovative offerings and services. This alsoincludes development and operations of proprietary ZS dataplatforms and capabilities. The Data Strategy and Data OfficeManager will be located close to one of our European offices andwill help deliver world-class solutions that address thedevelopment of data strategies to optimize data governance andoperation, data sourcing strategy, process design, value creation,and portfolio analytics, and more. This individual will have highvisibility within the firm and work collaboratively with the restof the Data Strategy team located in North America, Europe, andIndia as well as various practice areas (e.g., Research andDevelopment Excellence, RWE, RWD & I etc.) Responsibilities: -Collaborate closely with ZS practices and client service teamleaders to identify data needs, advise on viable data partners,determine engagement models with data partners, and relatedactivities that contribute to the development of new ZS offerings,assets, and solutions that leverage data. - Serve as Subject MatterExpert to support teams in practice area innovation, client projectproposals, client discussions, thought leadership, etc., where dataexpertise is needed. - Partner with ZS leaders and client teams tosell and deliver Data Strategy projects for Life Science clients,including project scoping, approach definition, project managementand execution, communication, and people management. - Initiate andcultivate relationships with diverse potential data providers(traditional and emerging), at various levels, including seniorexecutives. - Explore partnership opportunities and differentbusiness models which may benefit ZS and the data, technology, orprovider-system partner. Shepherd the negotiation process withdifferent stakeholders. - Manage day-to-day activity andcommunication with data partners; serve as key point of contact onall aspects to make partnerships live. - Manage operations,marketing, and commercialization of proprietary data platformcapabilities for scientific and clinical evidence generation andanalytics use cases. - Define and build long-term Data Strategyassets and offerings (new capabilities, frameworks, processes, andtools); and author thought leadership content. - Expand awareness,knowledge, and usage of data partnerships within the firm;communicate use cases, facilitate training, create thoughtleadership documents, etc. - Manage and collaborate with anextended team of diverse skill sets (knowledge management,technologists, business operations, etc.); Mentor/coach juniormembers in the team, as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's ormaster's degree required, with strong academic performance inanalytic and quantitative coursework. - 7+ years of relevant jobexperience; prior experience in Data Strategy and Life Sciences,working with consultancy firms, life science companies, orhealthcare data providers preferred. - Knowledge of healthcare dataand experience of its practical applications (e.g. patient-levelEHR, claims, omics, data and experience with RWD/RWE projects oromics data) preferred. - Empathy, adaptability, and high personalimpact, with ability to develop and maintain senior relationshipswith data partners over time. - Ability to translate unstructuredproblems into actionable processes and approaches. - Self-starter,with high motivation, maturity, and personal initiative. - Strongoral and written communication skills. - Self-discipline forplanning and organizing tasks, and delivering in an unstructuredenvironment. - Ability to multi-task and manage competingpriorities. - Experience in data management practices andfirst-hand experience of conducting RWE studies would bedifferentiating factors.
