Migrant Help have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,408 per annum.

Location: Dover, Kent (Hybrid)

The Senior Finance Analyst role:

Part of the Finance, Infrastructure and Quality team, the Deputy Director of Risk and Compliance is a new and exciting role, pivotal for driving excellence across the organisation. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering strategic plans with their team and working in partnership with stakeholders and colleagues in line with the values, needs and priorities of the organisation.

Key responsibilities of our Senior Finance Analyst:

Ensure there is a sound understanding of business areas in terms of both present as well as forecasted performance

Assist the FP&A team with their lead on the preparation of the quarterly forecasts

Support the Financial Reporting Manager with undertaking budgetary versus actual expenditure analysis, providing reports and meaningful information for Senior Finance Members.

Support in developing project budgets on a full cost recovery basis, and in the preparation of donor report.

Support undertaking grant and fund reconciliations periodically, assisting with scenario planning as required

Work with both the FP&A Manager and Team Leader to develop financial models for various scenarios, including costing and pricing.

Support the Bids and Grants team in carrying out due diligence, reporting on grant commitments and supporting impact reporting as required

To work effectively and collaboratively with the Financial Operations Manager and Financial Reporting Manager to ensure all work is accurate and timely, including that the coding structure appropriately reflects funding streams.

The ability to model around different scenarios to support strategic decision making

The experience and skills you need to become our Senior Finance Analyst:

Demonstrable Experience with data software

Evidence of problem-solving capabilities and a logical approach

Exceptional analysis skills, able to see the big picture through analysis and complex quantitative and qualitative data

Strong system skills with proven competence in reporting tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), an ambition and potential to develop this area
