What you’ll be doingLeadership and Coaching: Manage, Nurture and develop a team of AI Data ScientistsInnovation and Creativity: Willingness to explore new ideas, take calculated risks, and foster a culture of continuous learning and refinement.Commercial Acumen: The ability to approach problem-solving with a commercial perspective, demonstrating agility and adaptability.Who you areWe are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with proven experience leading AI projects and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, with hands-on experience using libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers, with a solid understanding of LLM architectures.You will also need to be well-versed in various machine learning techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning, as well as neural networks, support vector machines (SVM), tree-based methods, and deep learning algorithms. Knowledge in natural language understanding and generative AI will be essential.The role requires proficiency in MLOps practices, particularly in building and deploying production applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or similar platforms. A background in generative AI tools, including experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning language models, and selecting appropriate models for specific tasks, is highly desired.You’ll be expected to identify and create relevant features from raw data that enhance the performance of AI models.Additionally, you will be involved in developing, training, evaluating, and optimizing machine learning models, assessing their performance, and fine-tuning hyperparameters to achieve optimal accuracy and efficiency.05.2025Location: Flexible/Home working - occasional travel for meet ups in London or HoveWhat\'s in it for you?Join us and we\'ll help Britain achieve Net Zero together.
