About the role

As a Visualisation Engineer- MRO AI Solution, youwill design and build enterprise-grade visualisations that deliver actionable insights at speed for client initially, whilst ensuring frameworks can scale across all OpCos. This role demands consultancy-level frontend engineering expertise and the ability to balance velocity with strong engineering standards and discipline.

Shifts: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 10+ years in enterprise frontend engineering in AI/data environments.
  • Expertise in Tableau and/or PowerBI for rapid prototyping and stakeholder engagement
  • Deep hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Typescript, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred); familiarity with scalable deployment and integration
  • Strong knowledge of API integration.
  • Proven experience in developing, testing, and deploying robust frontend solutions into production environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability beyond proof-of-concept or prototype stages.
  • Familiarity with airline or logistics data domains is a plus.
  • Significant experience in similar roles, with a proven ability to integrate quickly into new teams and deliver immediate value.
  • Initial co-location with BA teams in London is essential to ensure close collaboration. Candidates must also be prepared to travel internationally during later stages to facilitate group-wide deployment.

Preferred Consulting-Level Competencies

  • Track record of delivering high-value products in large, complex organizations, ideally FTSE-100 Group enterprises or similar
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in advisory or consulting roles for engineering projects.
  • Track record of creating high-impact outcomes and driving stakeholder satisfaction from day one.
  • Ability to implement standards and frameworks for scalable visualisations across multiple operating companies


Responsibilities

  • Rapid prototyping: Deliver initial dashboards and visualisations in Tableau to meet urgent business needs
  • Robust engineering: Architect and build production-grade, reusable dashboard solutions using modern frontend technologies, integrating with enterprise APIs and data sources
  • Scalability & performance: Ensure solutions are modular, performant, and scalable across OpCos, with CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native deployment
  • Operational integration: Embed visualisations into BA workflows, enabling real-time decision-making and measurable impact
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Analysts to ensure cohesive solutions deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions
  • Multi-OpCo deployment: Design for interoperability and reusability across BA, Aer Lingus, Iberia, Vueling, etc
  • Stakeholder engagement: Translate business requirements into impactful visual experiences; drive adoption and continuous improvement.
