Job Title: SEND / Learning Support Officer

Location: Wiltshire - Hybrid (role includes delivery on site and working from home)

Salary: £48,500

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Role Summary:

This is a rewarding role supporting learners with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD) or additional needs as they begin their Apprenticeship journey.

You will identify and assess SpLD needs, implement Access Arrangements, and promote inclusive learning.

The role also involves supporting staff development, managing data and reporting, contributing to quality improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards

Duties:
Provide tailored learning support and study skills sessions.
Develop individual learning plans and coaching strategies.
Carry out SpLD assessments and complete exam access arrangements.
Promote best practices and liaise with external training providers.
Contribute to audits, self-assessments, and quality enhancement plans.
Produce regular performance and progress reports.
Ensure data compliance with legal and internal standards.Essential Criteria:
Experience in education/training (adult sector preferred)
Recognised teaching qualification: Able to consider a Level 4, or Cert-Ed or PGCE
Recognised SEND qualification
Strong understanding of Training and Learning and Instructional Theories
Level 7 qualification in Access Arrangements.
Experience of Data analysis
Experience of continuous improvement.Please note:
