Hometrack Data Services Product Lead (Maternity Cover)
As Product Lead for our Data Services you’ll be the strategic business partner to the Director of Data Services, responsible for product strategy, delivery and success of our property data solutions. Our data products support a range of customers that serve, manage and invest in the property industry by helping them make data driven decisions. Our customers include surveyors, new homes developers, local authorities and housing associations to retailers and investors.
In particular you will coach and mentor product managers through the launch of the Hometrack Data Hub, taking the product from MVP to a dynamic property and market intelligence platform, and lead the data solutions teams ( Data Scientists, analysts, data engineer) providing requirements and prioritisation for new data products to reach new audiences.
As a senior product manager / lead you will bring experience of using customer insights, data, market information, trends and user problems to identify business problems and opportunities to grow our data solutions revenue
Key responsibilities
Lead the data solutions team ( Data Scientists, analysts, data engineer) through discovery to test your ideas, using data and insight to drive your decision making and product prioritisation. Line management and mentoring for one product manager responsible for the build of Hometrack’s Data Hub, our property data and analytics platform. Identify opportunities to access, use and monetise the data assets we have across our group companies, including our price comparison websites. Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders for discovery and to gather business needs and input, resolving issues and clearing obstacles. Steer prioritisation at the product team level, within the constraints of the agreed objectives and outcomes as well as manage and communicate tradeoffs. Collaborate with commercial, sales and product marketing on the go to market strategy for new products or services including pricing, calculations of costs and ROI and CAC. Keep key stakeholders up to date, communicating short, medium and longer term roadmap as well as release planning, management and communications. Accountable for the tracking and performance of all KPIs for your product, implementing product analytics and ensuring a focus on performance is embedded within your team.
Requirements
Experience as a Senior Product Manager or Lead in a data rich, proptech or property data organisation. Experience building data centric API’s you understand technical language and terms used for api-first services and data products. Experience building & scaling SaaS / DaaS products, including developing pricing models Business acumen; a track record of delivering commercially viable products or services with a clear link to measurable company goals. Understanding of, and interest in, business strategy - clarity in linking product to business outcomes Value-centric approach to work. You are driven by delivering measurable value to customers Agile software development and product discovery methodologies. You reflect the importance of continuous, iterative delivery of value, plus the tools and techniques to facilitate this. You define solutions based on a thorough, methodical and data-driven approach. Team spirit and highly effective written and verbal communication skills to lead and influence a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
