The Role:We're looking for a proactive Performance & Business Intelligence Analyst to drive digital transformation, improve performance, and implement data-driven solutions across all stages of the well lifecycle—from drilling and completion to abandonment. You'll be at the heart of modernizing processes, supporting teams with digital tools, and fostering a culture of transparency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources with all areas within Wells and outside wells (subsurface, production operations, assets, projects, business improvement, SCM, logistics, decommissioning).
  • Develop key digital tools to track KPIs and measure business performance.
  • Support Wells personnel with the use of performance evaluation and new analytic tools.
  • Automate reporting internally and to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and ensure strategic initiatives for project planning, risk assessment, and financial forecasting to optimize business operations and create value for the organization.
  • Prepare and distribute performance benchmarks for all well operations.
  • Distribute any high value lessons learned or best practice.
  • Daily and historical monitoring of the performance KPI's, identify ILT’s (Invisible Lost Times) and other opportunities of improvement.
  • Change the culture within the group to ensure all decision making is transparent and digitally driven.
  • Partner with the central team to secure the necessary expertise, following the new Repsol standard of working.
  • Collaborate effectively within a Wells Team for streamlined project execution.
  • Prioritise safety and efficiency in project planning and delivery.
  • Ensure to focus on performance and cost management to meet project goals.
  • Develop fit for purpose technical and commercial solutions for project success.
  • Utilise digital data for informed decision-making throughout projects.



Your Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and present insights using Power BI and Excel.
  • Understanding of statistical models to forecast trends and optimize performance.
  • Experience with BI platforms for reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Skills in planning and performance management.
  • Process optimization to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to work with internal business optimisation groups.



What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Confident in using PowerApps suite, Power BI, M365.
  • SQL and database management for querying and handling structured data.
  • Programming in Python, R, or SAS for analytics, automation, and statistical modelling.
  • Business intelligence tools for reporting and dashboard creation.
