Summary    
We are currently seeking a People Systems Manager to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the business by ensuring our HR and Payroll system (Dayforce) is expertly governed, proactively maintained, and continuously optimised to meet evolving organisational needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge in a role that has a mix of operational hands-on support and build as well as an element of setting the strategic direction of the function. If you have a deep understanding of HRIS and payroll systems (ideally Dayforce), strong leadership skills (you’ll be managing a team of 3 people), and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical, high-impact solutions, we want to hear from you!

Some of the key deliverables for this role include:   
Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of three system experts, providing strategic and technical oversight to ensure the integrity, performance, and future-readiness of our HR and Payroll system (Dayforce)  

Innovate and Improve: Challenge legacy business processes, identify opportunities for automation, and drive a continuous improvement agenda  

Strategic Oversight: Manage all system developments and changes, follow and maintain a structured change control process, and ensure high standards of testing, documentation, and user adoption   

Stakeholder Support: Provide functional support to stakeholders throughout the business and manage the resolution of escalated support tickets

System Management: Take ownership of all system patches and upgrades, ensure test systems are up to date, and communicate with relevant stakeholders  

Continuous Improvement: Review and challenge current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure effective delivery   

Data Integrity: Ensure data and management information are managed in line with GDPR and maintain robust data integrity

Reporting Excellence: Manage report requests and ensure the business has a reporting catalogue that meets customer needs   

Service Delivery: Ensure BAU activity and system enhancements are delivered efficiently and consistently whilst also providing an excellent service to your customers  

What we’re looking for:  
Expert Knowledge: Proven experience with HR/People systems (ideally Dayforce or equivalent) within a large and complex organisation

Technical Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of SQL, Excel, and XML, with solid experience in report building

Leadership Experience: Previous experience managing a team of at least 2-3 people

Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to see the 'whole picture' to suggest and deliver practical solutions. 

Stakeholder Management: Superb relationship-building skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
