🚀 Join Us as a Data Engineer – Finsbury Park

📍 Location: Finsbury Park, London
📢 Reports To: Finance Systems Manager
💼 Contract Type: Full-time

Are you passionate about data and ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment? We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our dynamic WPS Business team, supporting a portfolio of contracts across Local Government, Housing Associations, and the private sector.

This is more than just a technical role – it’s your chance to shape how we use data to drive smarter decisions, improve operational efficiency, and deliver outstanding service.

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborating with Finance, IT, Procurement, and Operational teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions. Developing and maintaining data models, reports, and integrations across systems. Leading testing and implementation of data reports and system changes. Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance (e.g. GDPR). Driving continuous improvement in data engineering practices and documentation.

🧠 What You’ll Bring

Advanced Excel skills (including Power Query) and strong Power BI experience. A proactive, self-starting mindset with excellent time management. Strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative spirit and a desire to continuously improve and innovate.
