Job Description:

As a Partner Solution Architect, you will be an integral part of the DXC solutioning community helping customers, from small to global enterprises, scale, address their business, strategy, and technology needs.

Using your knowledge and experience of the hardware and software offerings in the partner product landscape for Cloud and Infrastructure, you will lead and work alongside other Solution Architects to understand multiple, complex, requirements while developing appropriate, successful, solution strategies and architectures that span traditional ITO, private, public and hybrid cloud services for DXC customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide resale proposal support for hardware, software and cloud offerings from our partner
  • Work closely with DXC partners to leverage their capabilities and expertise during solution development
  • Map the offerings from DXC partners to the client requirements
  • Work with the enterprise solution architects to understand the client requirements
  • Develop the resell solution strategy for client requirements
  • Configure and develop the bill of materials from one or multiple partners, either directly, with partner support and/or on the partner solution configuration portals
  • Optimize the resell solution to provide the best value-pricing for our clients including discounts
  • Provide and maintain in-depth market and technical expertise across one or more industry sectors and technologies (eg: AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP Dell, IBM or VMWare).
  • Provide knowledge and expertise of modernisation, migration, and hybrid cloud strategies.
  • Work within the solutioning community as part of a bid team as part of the overall solution strategy on identified pursuits.
  • Work closely with other technical and non-technical pursuit team members to understand and develop solution costs, assumptions, and risks in support of the DXC pursuit governance process.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Several years of design, implementation or consulting experience in infrastructure, cloud and/or modern workplace technologies
  • Solid knowledge of the partner ecosystem
  • Deep knowledge of the product offerings from 2 or more global partners (eg: AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP Dell, IBM or VMWare).
  • Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud and cloud migration strategies
  • 5+ years relevant experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
  • Strong written and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with business and technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 active associate or professional public cloud certification

Preferred:

  • Experience of cloud and enterprise management platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Experience working with transformative technology including IoT, AI/ML, business intelligence, analytics.
  • Experience of traditional ITO services
