As aSolution Architect, you’ll help define and shape technology strategies within theEnterprise Enablementdomain, which includes business planning, supply chain, operations, finance, HR, and productivity services. You’ll work with business and IT leaders to develop solution architectures, guide implementation teams, and ensure alignment with our technology roadmap.

What youll be doing:Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

  • Define thetarget state architecturefor areas of enterprise enablement, linking business capabilities with technology strategies.
  • Assess current systems and recommendmodernization and optimizationapproaches.
  • Develop and evolvearchitectural models and roadmapswith technology and business teams.
  • Stay updated onemerging technologiesand evaluate their potential impact.
  • Participate inproof of concepts (PoCs)to assess new technology opportunities.
  • Developsolution architecturesfor multi-phase change programs.
  • Explore and assesssolution optionswith vendors, analysts, and internal teams.
  • Definecurrent and future state architectures, outlining transition steps.
  • Identify keydesign decisionsand collaborate with partners.
  • Presentsolution recommendationsto decision-making groups.

Governance & Best Practices

  • Ensure compliance withSIE architecture principles, standards, and frameworks.
  • Producehigh-quality architectural documentationthat explains solutions, options, and decisions.
  • Review and approve solution designs foralignment with the future state architecture.
  • Applyarchitecture governance processesto assure design conformance to your defined architecture.
  • Partner withengineering, security, data and AI teamsto solve architectural challenges.
  • Buildstrong supplier relationshipsto enhance technology investments.
  • Mentor junior architectsand contribute to best practices across Sony’s architecture teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ yearsof experience as aSolution Architectworking on corporate platforms (e.g., ERP, HR systems).
  • Experience in designingscalable, reliable, and cost-effective enterprise solutions.
  • Architecting solutions for two ofsales, operations, finance, or HR systems.
  • Collaborating with engineering teamsto implement architectures.
  • Communicating complex IT concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Evaluating solutions throughRFIs, RFPs, PoCs, and blueprinting.
  • Proven in applyingenterprise architecture frameworks(e.g., Archimate).
  • Experienced in architecture modellingin tool (e.g., Bizzdesign).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree inComputer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience insolution design, software development, or business analysis.
  • Worked withglobal, multi-functional teams.
  • Familiarity withSAP S/4 ERP, Workday, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding ofintegration technologies(e.g., Ab Initio, Mulesoft) anddata architecture(e.g., Snowflake, Tableau, Microstrategy).
  • Knowledge ofcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) andAI/ML enablement.
