About the job:

As a delivery driver for Pret a Manger, you are not just delivering our handcrafted products to our stores. This position will provide variety in your role, whilst making sure you keep our company vehicle clean and tidy. You'll also support in keeping our in-store kitchens and customer areas are fully stocked, clean and ready for our customers to enjoy.

Your Duties:

• Vehicle safety checks - tyres, fuel levels, wear & tear and cleanliness

• Checking orders are complete and correct before leaving your hub store, communicating with the management team on shift.

• Loading our company van with products in a safe and organised manner.

• Delivering products to our spoke store(s) in a safe manner ensuring you and the products arrive in good order, twice per day.

• Support the hub store team in keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and well stocked.

• Support the hub team in keeping the customer areas clean, tidy and well stocked.

• Interact with customers and support in their queries when on shop floor.

• Be an ambassador for our brand, always looking the part both in uniform and attitude.

We offer:

Shift pattern:3-4 days per week. Starting between 6am & 8am (depending on site) finishing between 3pm & 5pm.

Type:Permanent

Pay & benefits:

• £12 per hour + the opportunity to earn a weekly mystery shopper bonus of £1.50 per hour (after your training is complete),

• 28 days holiday

What we're looking for:

  • A team player with good relationship building skills.
  • A safe driver - we'd rather you arrive at your destination in a safe manner, rather than racing between stores, both for your safety and the quality of our products.
  • Ability to adapt/ flex while working in busy peak periods.
  • A positive can-do attitude, happy to go above and beyond.
  • High standards of hygiene, keeping your hub store & vehicle clean & tidy.
  • Good eye for detail, when checking orders are correct before leaving your hub store.


Please note: You must be over the age of 21 years and hold a valid UK manual driving licence for a minimum of 2 years due to commercial insurance stipulations, no more than 6 points accepted for minor driving offences and not received a driving ban within the last 5 years.
