We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Data& Analytics team. Data Scientists play a key role withinClearScore, driving strategy and key decision-making, whichultimately benefits our users, partners, and other teams within thebusiness. Working in the Data & Analytics team, you will play akey role in building and optimising cloud-based models to enhancepersonalisation and user experience, as well as analytics tosupport the leadership team in developing the overall strategy.ClearScore is both a free credit score and report service and theUK’s leading consumer credit marketplace. What you will bedoing: - Building predictive models end-to-end, to enable a morepersonalised user experience - Interpreting and communicating theoutputs of models and analysis, including actionable insights -Automating the model development and maintenance life cycle -Assessing the impact of new models and the strategies utilisingthem - Supporting the ongoing growth of ClearScore across allmarkets Skills we'd love you to have: - A strong desire to deeplyunderstand the problem to be solved and why it is important to thebusiness, before attempting to solve it - Being a self starter wholoves learning new things and working collaboratively to solvebusiness problems - The ability to explain to non-technicalaudiences the key learnings/ findings from analysis and modelling -Advanced coding skills in Python and SQL - Strong understanding ofmultiple Machine Learning (ML) techniques and their suitabilityunder various scenarios - Good knowledge and experience related tothe end-to-end ML model building lifecycle, including featureengineering and model deployment - Basic understanding of consumerlending and the key drivers of credit and affordability strategiesWhy ClearScore?
