We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Data& Analytics team. Data Scientists play a key role withinClearScore, driving strategy and key decision-making, whichultimately benefits our users, partners, and other teams within thebusiness. Working in the Data & Analytics team, you will play akey role in building and optimising cloud-based models to enhancepersonalisation and user experience, as well as analytics tosupport the leadership team in developing the overall strategy.ClearScore is both a free credit score and report service and theUK’s leading consumer credit marketplace. ClearScore has an amazinganalytical community which includes Data Analysts, Scientists andEngineers. The community works collaboratively to ensure alandscape in which team members can develop their full potentialand deliver maximum positive business impact. What you will bedoing: - Building predictive models end-to-end, to enable a morepersonalised user experience - Interpreting and communicating theoutputs of models and analysis, including actionable insights -Automating the model development and maintenance life cycle -Assessing the impact of new models and the strategies utilisingthem - Supporting the ongoing growth of ClearScore across allmarkets Skills we'd love you to have: - A strong desire to deeplyunderstand the problem to be solved and why it is important to thebusiness, before attempting to solve it - Being a self starter wholoves learning new things and working collaboratively to solvebusiness problems - The ability to explain to non-technicalaudiences the key learnings/ findings from analysis and modelling -Advanced coding skills in Python and SQL - Strong understanding ofmultiple Machine Learning (ML) techniques and their suitabilityunder various scenarios - Good knowledge and experience related tothe end-to-end ML model building lifecycle, including featureengineering and model deployment - Basic understanding of consumerlending and the key drivers of credit and affordability strategiesWhy ClearScore?
