We have an exciting opportunity for three Master Data Analysts to join the Finance team at Yorkshire Water and be part of helping Yorkshire Water provide the best service to our customers.

Where you fit in

As our Master Data Analyst with SAP Ariba you will:

  • Create, maintain and enhance Ariba Master Data to high data quality standards, including creating and amending Contract Workspaces, Qualifying and Disqualifying suppliers and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
  • Analyse and enhance Ariba master data to support business processes and improve end user experience.
  • Undertake regular data cleansing and archiving activities to rid the system of old, unused data or duplicates (e.g., archiving and closing expired contracts).
  • Identify risk within Ariba Master Data and propose recommendations to mitigate these risks.
  • Actively identify areas for data quality improvements and present recommendations to resolve and improve data quality.
  • Act as liaison between suppliers and/or end users to coordinate/resolve data issues.
  • Provide training and support to internal and external users on master data management within Ariba.

What Skills & Qualifications You Will Need

  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP S4 HANA and SAP Ariba
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships across the team and departments to drive best practice in data management
  • Keeps up to date with regulatory guidelines and ensures processes are amended as required
  • Actively analysing data and delivering insights to enhance data quality, facilitate informed decision-making, and optimise business processes
  • Identifying outdated Ariba data and acquiring the latest information from suppliers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with standards
  • Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures for master data processes, particularly when system changes are implemented
  • Working with process SMEs to agree the data types required to address specific business challenges
  • Strong demonstrable skills with Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the tenacity to independently solve problems
  • Commercially focused with a demonstrable track record

Nice-to-have

  • Power BI or similar experience
