We are currently looking for a Market Data Analyst / Quantitative Analyst to join our existing and growing team. This is a hybrid position, with a mix of onsite and remote working involved.

Responsibilities

While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include:

  • Develop and implement quantitative rules to profile and validate financial datasets across multiple asset classes.
  • Work with large-scale market data to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and outliers.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to expand the data quality monitoring into our MDaaS platform.
  • Support clients in understanding data integrity challenges and develop solutions tailored to their specific use cases.
  • Conduct research on data-driven methodologies for improving financial market data processing.
  • Taking ownership of critical activities.
  • Developing a detailed understanding of how operations work within large scale financial organisations.

Qualifications

  • Strong educational background – Degree (Masters would be an advantage).
  • 3+ years experience in a quantitative role within a financial institution, trading firm, or fintech company.
  • Strong knowledge across multiple asset classes.
  • Hands-on experience with market data feeds and analysis.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies in market data.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and collaborating across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
