L3Harris in Tewkesbury is our HQ for our Intelligence & Cyber International division. In the land domain, our T7 and T4 multi-mission robots deliver next-generation remote capabilities and uncompromised performance. We design and manufacture world-leading land force protection systems, cyber and electromagnetic activities (CEMA), electronic warfare (EW) and encryption capabilities. Our cyber capabilities provide an information advantage in the fields of kinetic conflict, cyber warfare, force protection and counterterrorism.

We are looking for a commercially minded finance leader to drive strategic growth, lead a small team and add real value to a dynamic business. This person will join a forward-thinking team and play a key role in shaping financial performance and decision-making.

As a Lead Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams, providing insightful analysis robust financial planning, and clear recommendations that support strategic business objectives.

    What the role will involve

    The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Establish clear reporting metrics for Operations and Engineering programs across the Division

  • Establish relationships with the Divisional leadership to advise on Financial and Commercial topics as required

  • Ensure that suitable controls are in place to provide accurate and clear financial reporting through all projects and programs

  • Conduct monthly project review across the company portfolio, ensuring accurate, relevant and timely information and providing insight and clarity on financial issues

  • Drive improvements in financial reporting and business intelligence

  • Ensure a consistent methodology is applied across all programs in relation to contingency, risk and their connection to milestones

  • Manage the team to provide financial inputs to the bid process

  • Ensure that the Division operates within the current financial accounting standards and good practice across its projects and programs, communicating the impact of such standards through the appropriate management and functional leadership of the business

    What experience you’ll bring

    The role requires the following experience and skills:

  • Qualified accountant with recognised accountancy qualification

  • Substantial prior related experience in a senior post

  • Prior experience of integrated ERP systems

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and performance analysis

  • Bids and cost modelling experience – advantageous but not essential

  • Relevant industry experience – advantageous but not essential

    Due to the nature of our work many our roles require a UK nationality and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
