Job Title: IT Technician
Location: Broxburn
Remuneration: £15 - £18 per hour - dependant on experience
Contract Details: Temporary, 3 months

Are you an IT wizard ready to make a difference? Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join their dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to dive into a fast-paced environment where your skills will shine!

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with users to configure and develop business information systems, ensuring alignment with organisational needs.
Monitor and report on SLAs and KPIs for ICT service delivery, keeping a close eye on third-party agreements.
Engage with external IT providers for managed service contracts, hardware maintenance, finance systems, and more!
maximise up-time and minimise downtime of the IT infrastructure and business systems.
Foster strong relationships with end-users to enhance processes and productivity.
Liaise effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Support all IT projects and initiatives, contributing to their success.
Prepare departmental IT policies and procedures as necessary.
Maintain an up-to-date IT map/register.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Promote a culture of health and safety in all activities.You'll also have the chance to work on critical projects that align with current business priorities, documenting procedures and providing support as needed.

Key Requirements:

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.
Experience with business intelligence tools and reporting.
Familiarity with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ability to manage hardware maintenance and IT project support.
Knowledge of finance, time & attendance, and HR systems.
Proficiency in email filtering and telephony systems.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Working Pattern:
