Market 36 Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Recruitment Manager on behalf of our client based in Rayleigh, on a permanent basis.

You will play a key role in leading the client’s high-volume recruitment strategy, ensuring their talent acquisition processes are efficient, data-driven, and built for scale.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will line manage a fast-growing team of internal recruiters, responsible for high-volume hiring across there Care and Transport divisions.

The client is mainly looking for someone who can provide strong leadership, coaching and process improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and line manage a team of internal recruiters, ensuring they meet ambitious hiring targets in a fast-paced environment.

  • Drive team performance, motivation, and professional development, creating a culture of success and accountability.

  • Support recruiters with training, coaching and process guidance, ensuring best practices are followed.

  • Efficiently allocate workloads across the team, ensuring optimal performance and scalability in recruitment efforts.

  • Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to the Head of Operations and Senior Leadership Team.

  • Design and implement innovative, cost-effective recruitment strategies tailored to mass hiring needs.

  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, candidate experience and compliance.

  • Leverage recruitment technology, automation tools, and data analytics to streamline high-volume hiring workflows.

  • Oversee the growth and management of talent pipelines, ensuring a steady workflow of high-quality candidates

  • Oversee pre-employment compliance checks, including DBS clearance, right to work verification, and private hire licensing requirements.

  • Work closely with head of operations and department heads to understand workforce planning and recruitment priorities.

    Experience, Education & Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading an ambitious and fast paced team, ideally within high-volume hiring environments.

  • Recruitment or Senior management experience (in-house or agency)

  • Experience in process improvement, recruitment automation and innovative hiring strategies.

  • Ability to utilise advancing technology to drive continuous improvement.

  • Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong understanding of private hire licensing, transport or regulated recruitment
