Are you passionate about protecting data, enabling ethical information use and supporting high quality care through sound governance? WWL is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Information Governance officer to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities
  • Help ensure the Trust meets data protection, confidentiality and information security obligations.
  • Advise staff on IG best practices.
  • Support Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.
  • Support the completion of DPIAs and the DSPT / CAF.
  • Provide training sessions and communications on maintaining confidentiality and appropriately accessing records.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including staff, patients, subject matter experts, health care providers, police and other third parties in the protection and provision of information.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in Data Protection, Information Governance and familiarity with the General Data Protection Regulation and DP 2018.
  • Excellent interpersonal and Excel skills with ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a busy, dynamic environment and to train others.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and ability to bring colleagues together to manage information governance safely.
Working arrangement

This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely alongside the opportunity to collaborate on site with a supportive and experienced IG team.
