The HR & Payroll Specialist will manage payroll processes, employee data, and HR operations for a leisure, travel, and tourism organisation. The role is based in Cheshire and requires attention to detail and proficiency in HR systems and payroll oversight.

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team within a fast-paced hospitality business. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established and forward-thinking company operating across multiple UK locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end payroll process using the automated system
Support regional managers by ensuring accurate input of employee data and hours
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing - no manual calculations required
Prepare and compile detailed finance reports, payroll journals, and monthly reconciliations
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to support reporting and compliance requirements
Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across systemsYou'll be required to attend an office environment 3 days a week, including ad-hoc travel to other sites.

Profile

A successful HR & Payroll Specialist should have:

Experience in payroll administration within a multi-site or fast-moving environment
Strong understanding of payroll systems and reporting
Confident with finance tasks such as reporting, reconciliations, and journal preparation
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
A team player with strong communication skills and a collaborative approachJob Offer

Competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
