HR & Payroll Administrator
HR Administrator – Payroll experience essential
Pay: £17 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm – Immediate start
Location: Newham, East London
Start Date: ASAP

Please only apply if you have experience within HR payroll in the education sector. You must have experience with HR MIS, HR data and fully abl to implement a new payroll system.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrator to join the central team of a growing Multi Academy Trust in Newham. This is a full-time position, starting on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent. You must have experience within HR and payroll and be available immediately with an Enhanced DBS.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Integration:
    Support the smooth transition and implementation of a new payroll provider and system across the trust.
  • HR Data Management:
    Maintain and update accurate HR records, ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • HR MIS Administration:
    Operate and manage the Trust’s HR Management Information System, ensuring staff records are kept current and compliant.
  • Administrative Support:
    Provide general HR and payroll administrative duties to support the Trust’s central and school-based teams.
  • Data Accuracy & Spreadsheets:
    Collate, check, and validate data using spreadsheets to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability in reporting and payroll processes.
  • System Implementation:
    Assist with the rollout of the new payroll system, liaising with stakeholders to ensure efficient adoption and minimal disruption.
  • Trust-wide Support:
    Deliver HR and payroll-related assistance across all schools within the Trust as required.
    Candidate Requirements:
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • HR admin and payroll experience in a school is essential
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling data
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and data validation techniques
  • Previous experience in payroll or HR administration desirable
  • Familiarity with HR MIS systems beneficial
  • Ability to work proactively as part of a central support team
