Head of Product

ClearScore Technology Limited, London, United Kingdom

  • Location:London, UK
  • Hybrid:3 days a week in office
  • Salary:£140K - £160K

We're looking for a Head of Product to lead our Global Product Growth efforts. This is a unique opportunity to scale our impact across multiple countries by developing a clear product optimisation strategy and executing it across the user lifecycle-from acquisition and activation to engagement and retention.

You'll shape how we optimise our product for performance in each market, identify shared opportunities across them, and build the systems and practices that allow our teams to move quickly and effectively to execute against the strategy. You'll work with a group of talented PMs and work closely with Marketing, Data, Engineering, Design, and our commercial leads in each region.

This role is mission-critical. You won't just help more users find ClearScore-you'll help them engage with us, trust us, and make better financial decisions as a result.

What will you be doing:

  • Own the global product growth strategy:Define and deliver the product growth strategy across all five international markets, aligning with overall company business and product strategy to identify local and global opportunities to optimise the product to drive maximum global impact.
  • Drive measurable improvements in our core growth metrics:Optimise the user journey across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetisation-finding high-leverage opportunities to accelerate growth sustainably.
  • Champion world-class experimentation:Build and evolve the frameworks, systems, and culture that enable high-quality, high-velocity experimentation across the product organisation. Bring rigour to what we test, how we learn, and how we scale what works.
  • Bridge global and local:Connect the dots between our markets-sharing learnings, aligning priorities, and ensuring we're building in ways that balance global consistency with local relevance.
  • Partner with central teams:Work closely with our Platform, Data and Upstream (Innovation) teams to ensure that the product strategy, roadmap and live product are grounded in the needs of our global users and partners.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team:Manage and mentor a team focused on growth initiatives. Set clear goals, create an environment of accountability, and support their development as product leaders.
  • Deeply understand our users:Use data, behavioural insight, and qualitative research to understand what drives user behaviour across geographies. Uncover both common threads and local nuances.
  • Collaborate across disciplines:Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Commercial teams to design and deliver growth solutions that are impactful and user-centric.
  • Monitor competitors and market shifts:Stay close to how user expectations, competitors, and technologies are evolving in each market, and use these insights to keep us ahead.

Who you are:

  • Global product leader:You've scaled products across multiple markets and know how to navigate cultural, regulatory, and operational differences.
  • Growth strategist:You've driven substantial user growth through experimentation, data-led optimisation, and strong product thinking. You know how to move numbers in ways that matter.
  • Systems thinker:You see growth as a cross-functional system-not a set of siloed tactics. You can architect the processes, rituals, and culture that underpin strong execution.
  • Empathetic and curious:You bring deep customer insight into your decision-making. You're as comfortable watching user sessions as you are digging into dashboards.
  • Collaborative by default:You bring people together-across disciplines, teams, and markets-to achieve more than the sum of their parts.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity:You can bring structure and clarity to uncertain or complex situations. You thrive in environments with autonomy and change.
  • Mission-aligned:You care deeply about financial wellbeing and want to build something that genuinely helps people.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience leading growth product teams in consumer tech, fintech, marketplaces, or similar global businesses.
  • A track record of growing products internationally and balancing local market nuances with platform-level consistency.
  • Strong grasp of growth mechanics-acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, engagement loops, and retention strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation frameworks, analytics, and user insight methodologies.
  • A leadership style that balances ambition with humility, drive with empathy.
  • Exceptional communication skills-you're able to bring clarity to complexity and influence at every level of the organisation.

Why Join Us?

  • Meaningful impact:Help millions of people around the world make better financial decisions and improve their lives.
  • Global scale, start-up spirit:We're in multiple markets but move fast, stay lean, and operate with autonomy.
  • Supportive, inclusive culture:We value openness, trust, and collaboration-and we work hard to make ClearScore a place where everyone can thrive.
  • Opportunities for growth:You'll shape not just a product, but how we grow, operate, and evolve as a global company.
