JOB PURPOSE

Within the newly established Ice Cream RD&I, Digital and Data Capability team we are looking for aGlobal Data Analyst. The key features of this role are to interrogate the quality of data we have in our digital systems and utilize that data for creation of user-friendly solutions ( reports, dashboards, tools, apps). These solutions will need to be maintained and evolve over time or will be one-off bespoke solutions for targeted queries from various business partners. In this role you will liaise with business partners across several business functions to build the requirements for the front-end, collect the data, build data models, and present the results to business users and to wider audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Data Collection from multiple sources including SAP PLM, R&D Datalake, existing Power BI datasets, and individual datasets provided by business partners. Validating underlying data used by the division in the core data sources, and any bespoke datasets used in our reports.  Lead E2E project delivery focused on data extraction, data transformation, dashboard/tool creation as well as drive tool adoption to facilitate strides towards becoming a data-driven organization. Actively identify opportunities to develop/optimize solutions to drive our Data Analytics strategy with maximum business impact. Liaising with the Data Stewardship and Core Systems squad to ensure data quality in the core systems such that Ice Cream data is complete with a clear aim that reporting becomes a routine process. Develop comprehensive documentation capturing essential project details required to re-build data models and ensure complete knowledge transfer. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, facilitate effective communication, and address any concerns or issues promptly to achieve successful project outcomes.

ALL ABOUT YOU 

Experiences & Qualifications

Education:Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or data science. Proven years experience and practice in data management, data quality verification, data visualization, and data integration. Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools is a plus. Balanced profile of functional business knowledge/understanding and data/analytics expertise: preferred experience in (Ice Cream) R&D or Supply Chain domain.

Skills

Critical thinking and flexibility to work effectively around technical and business constraints. Solid experience in data analysis, data visualization, data reporting using Power BI end-to-end application development, and implementation of front-end (, dashboards and web front-ends). Applied experience in Visual Analytics Platforms like Microsoft Power BI. Strong knowledge in designing efficient, robust, and automated data pipelines and ETL workflows. SAP PLM: usage knowledge and expertise and associated data portals to extract data. Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and priorities, while effectively collaborating with team members through regular sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality, incremental value. SAP PLM: understands data standards in building hierarchies and specification contents is a plus. Experience using R or Python is desirable Proficiency in SQL is highly desirable

Fluent in English Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills. Passion for continuous learning and transforming self and others to bring value.  Favourable experience in agile project management and change management. Ability to communicate data expertise work in “different languages” based on target audience: stakeholders, experts, R&D community.
