Gleeson recruitment are working with a business that are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their team.

With a fantastic team, great benefits and opportunity for progression this is a great opportunity for a newly qualified candidate to take their next step.

The role is based in Burton, offering both flexible and hybrid working with a salary of up to £55,000 and 20% bonus.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the month-end group close process, ensuring complete and accurate consolidation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet figures across all entities.
Prepare comprehensive monthly board and leadership reports, highlighting key financial movements, risks, and actionable insights.
Deliver timely analysis and financial commentary to both operational and finance stakeholders, helping inform critical business decisions.
Assist the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis with quarterly external filings, including drafting the Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) for submission.
Support corporate budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with internal timelines and business objectives.
Maintain and oversee the consolidation platform, ensuring data integrity, correct FX application, and report configuration.
Identify and implement process efficiencies to streamline reporting and improve consistency across the group.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, reports, and presentation materials as required by senior management.

The ideal candidate:

A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract meaningful information.
Strong excel skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
