Position Summary

As a Fintech Product Manager, you will be exposed to the international Flexibility and Fintech added-value services ecosystem within a fast-paced technology organisation. Your main responsibilities will be to manage/support new fintech products and solutions’ assessment and onboarding, conduct market research, and monitor industry trends related to flexibility offerings.

Additionally, you will engage with internal business leaders and external partners to project manage product onboarding, lead data-driven process improvements, and contribute to the department's pipeline and priorities. The ideal candidate must have a 360-degree understanding of both travel and fintech, demonstrating a problem-solving attitude with a strong focus on customer experience while staying up to date with industry regulations and best practices.

This role is open to all of our existing European locations, so the right candidate can be based in the UK, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, or Finland. Depending on the candidate's location, it is a hybrid or remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Become the relevant market expert with respect to flexibility and fintech products, including regulatory implications and best practices.
  • Perform fintech products/solutions’ evaluation processes, including new providers and expected impact, by formulating business cases under a data-driven and multifaceted approach, considering economics, customer experience, performance, and strategic focus.
  • Monitor and assess competition at the partner, market, and product level and evaluate the company’s competitiveness from an offering perspective.
  • Define the business requirements for the implementation of new products, providing clear guidelines to involved cross-functional teams, including development.
  • Project manage flexibility and fintech product onboarding, ensuring business alignment across functions and coordinating internal and external partners for a seamless transition.
  • Maintain top responsibility for operational and financial performance, defining financial objectives and KPIs while ensuring the necessary analytics are implemented and dashboards reflect relevant insights.
  • Manage communications with existing partners on operational and product aspects, attend QBRs to stay up to date with new opportunities, and drive action plans.
  • Support RFPs for new partners, ensuring a well-structured approach to assess new partner capabilities and their alignment with Etraveli Group’s needs and tech ecosystem.
  • Work closely with data analysts to assess the performance of fintech solutions and partners, identifying and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay up to date with market trends in the fintech and travel-tech industry, identifying new opportunities and proposing innovative solutions with high impact.
  • Degree in Business subject areas, Finance, Engineering, Statistics or Science
  • Approximately 2-3 years working experience in a commercial product-centric and/or business development role within a growth oriented, fast-paced digital business, where accountability for aspirational targets are set.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the travel industry, airline industry, or online booking platforms
  • Ability to independently navigate through complexities and provide clarity to a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve commitment towards results
  • Strong organisational skills combined with business understanding
  • Data analytical skills – essential/mandatory.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop business cases, analyse large datasets, and make data-driven decisions
  • Self-motivated with ability to take ownership in a fast growing environment
  • Ability to prioritise, effectively handle multiple projects under a minimum supervision and honour deadlines
  • Ability to act proactively, take initiatives and pay attention to details
  • Strong communication skills & excellent command of the English language
  • Strong understanding of airline booking flows, fare structures, and fintech-related travel products
  • Experience working with flexibility and added-value services in a travel or fintech environment
  • Experience in partner management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment subject to continuous changes and multiple priorities
