Role Title: Financial Systems Specialist Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (with strong potential for Permanent conversion) Location: Finsbury Park, London - Agile working with a blend of home and office presence Earning Potential:

Fixed Term: Circa £26.96 per hour

Permanent (upon conversion): Circa £50,000 per annum + comprehensive benefits package

We're seeking a highly motivated and technically astute Financial Systems Specialist to join our forward-thinking team. Based in our Finsbury Park office, you'll be at the heart of providing crucial Finance and Systems support across a diverse and interesting portfolio of contracts within the essential reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, and facilities management sectors. Our clients include Local Government, Housing Associations, and the private sector, offering a broad and engaging workload.

Reporting directly to the Financial Systems Manager, you will be a key driver in optimizing our financial systems landscape. Your responsibilities will span delivering vital Systems business support, performing insightful data analysis, implementing impactful system improvements, supporting seamless system migrations and upgrades, and providing comprehensive systems-related support that directly contributes to business success. You'll collaborate closely with influential stakeholders across Finance, IT, Operations, and Commercial teams, and contribute to projects that shape both our financial reporting and critical back-office transaction systems.

We're looking for a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) who not only understands financial systems but is passionate about making them work better. Experience within similar industries will be highly valued. This is a fast-paced yet rewarding environment that demands strong technical IT skills, exceptional analytical prowess, and, crucially, advanced mastery of Excel.

Safeguard Data Integrity: Manage and oversee system controls, ensuring the accuracy, security, and reliability of our financial data.

Champion Innovation: Drive continuous systems improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of efficiency and best practice.

Provide Strategic Insights: Deliver insightful ad-hoc financial analysis to support informed business decisions.

Maintain System Excellence: Conduct regular monthly system inspections to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and the robust integrity of our accounts structure.
