Gleeson has exclusive partnered with a Freight forwarder company looking for an Ocean Freight Coordinator for a Multi-National business that are investing in there UK counterpart.

Job Title: Export Ocean Freight Forwarder
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000
Work Type : Office
Locations: Lichfield

Duties:

Manage service operations efficiently, provide essential information, and prepare quotes for air and sea transportation.
Coordinate the movement of freight via air and sea.
Deliver outstanding customer service across all transportation channels, with a focus on ocean and air shipments.
Oversee the entire shipment process to ensure accurate and timely bookings.
Facilitate the processing of shipment details to avoid potential delays.
Engage with customers to deliver customised quotations that meet their specific requirements.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of customs regulations, handling of dangerous goods, and insurance protocols.
Collaborate with customs brokers, providing precise information for swift import clearance in compliance with regulations.
Identify and report potential claims, compiling necessary details to ensure prompt and professional processing according to company standards.
Interact with customers professionally and courteously at all times.
Support business development activities and initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and system updates to ensure data integrity.
