This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Environmental Consultant to join a specialist environmental compliance and consultancy team, with offices spanning the UK. Joining a large multidisciplinary team of environmental, energy and water infrastructure experts, you'll be provided with an abundance of projects to work on, with room for career progression and development within the company.

The successful Environmental Consultant will be offered:

Small, supportive team within a larger, stable company for job security.This Environmental Consultant role will involve work focusing on contaminated land projects. You will be:

Manage projects from initial investigation through remediation and closure.
Leading and managing environmental insurance claim projects with strong technical and financial oversight.
Conduct site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation verifications.
Carrying out Assessments (PRA) and Generic Quantitative Risk Assessments (GQRA).
Prepare/review technical documents such as method statements and risk assessments.
Schedule and interpret data from soil, groundwater, and gas monitoring.
Support implementation and verification of remediation strategies.
Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships.To be considered for this Environmental Consultant role you must have experience in an Environmental Consultancy/Contaminated Land role, have a degree in a relevant subject (for example environmental geography, geoscience, environmental engineering, or similar), live commutable to the Manchester/Sheffield area, hold a full UK Driving Licence and have a full right to work in the UK.
